within the Independence School
District boundaries.
Independence Head Start is accredited by the Missouri Board of Accreditation of Early Childhood Education

Part Day Head Start
* Half day program
* Monday through Thursday
* September through May
* Must meet Head Start
income guidelines
* Bus transportation provided
* FREE
Full Day Head Start
* All day program for parents
working and/or going to
school full time
* Open 6:00a.m. - 6:00p.m.
5 days a week, year round
* Must meet guidelines for
Missouri subsidized child
care assistance
* FREE to those who qualify
